Alarm issue help required

Hi there guys

I have a 98 boxster 2.5 which i've not had to long , anyway last night while i was sleeping the alarm went off twice for no apparent reason. Just wondered if anyone had the same problem and and can someone give me some info so i can remedy the situation. Any advice would be most welcome as im on hol for a week soon and hope the alarm doesnt go off while im away. Even thought about disconnecting the battery while im away.

Disconecting the car battery will not help as it has an internal alarm battery,
I have had similar problems with my 99 2.5 mainly in warm weather(so not often!)
For a quick fix while you are away try double clicking the key fob when you lock it the alarm should chirp to show that the internal sensor is not activated this might stop the alarm going off untill it can be checked out.

My 2000S has done it a couple of times and usually after about 2-3 weeks sitting. The alarm could be alerting you of a low battery or same big ass animal jump on you Boxster and set the alarm off.
