That is the lamest excuse to buy a Turbo that I ever heard!

Mind if I use it sometime?

Smile 'Nuther used.

I just went used, got it a last week.
2001 (non S)
13,300 miles, truly like new, led a pampered life garaged
$28,500
5 spd
Sports package
Yellow with matching roll bars, seatbelts & console
warranty till August
Got the sticker - MSRP was $48,212 plus some dealer adds
Glad I didn't have to eat the first depreciation.
But hey, if I had the money I would buy new too.
Concur - neither is a mistake -
Yellow? the color of my first Triumph in high school, circa 1970.

Purists stop reading here.
Had to sell the Miata. Wrong place for these sentiments, I suspect, but they are great handling cars for not much money (yeh, they're grossly underpowered). Good cars to practice driving skills, though.

Love driving the boxster! Wow! There really is a heaven...
Joining PCA and look forward to joining future events. Already in SCCA.
Carolina Motorsports park is not far away - anybody out there familiar with their driver's ed?

No need to make excuses for the Miata.

Tons of goodness, cheap in the extreme!

One of the better gear boxes in the world.

Hey man, no problem with the Miata! That's a great car, and it put the roadster back on the map for the 90's up through today... heck, if it wasn't such a great seller there might not even have been an IDEA for the Boxster, Porsche would've tanked (or made something whacked, like a pickup truck), and then where would we be?

I decided on a Boxster because it was a two seat mid engine FLAT-6. Two seats was important to me because I did not want to drive people around. You know those people, "Hey can we ride in your car?" I say, "Sorry, I only have two seats  "

btw: Rowag, did you ever pick up that box?

I almost bought a Rain Forest Green boxster also, if I ever factory order a porsche (whether its another boxster or a GT2) i'm getting it in Rain Forest Green Metallic, I don't care if I have to wait, I just think that color is very unique.

I went new also. '04 with 17 miles on the clock when I picked it up. I had to have a few things such as glass rear window, sport seats, Carrera lightweights, etc. and at the time there weren't many used '03 cars for sale with those specific options (nor at very good prices).
