Cleaning around trunk letters

Any suggestions for cleaning in and around the letters "Boxster S" on the rear trunk lid?
Are they easy to remove and replace as an alternative to cleaning around them?

i dont think you will want to remove them

Use a soft toothbrush. I did hook the "B" with a rag while cleaning around mine a year or so ago. I ended up breaking the serif off of the letter B. I glued it back down and you can't tell.

Cotton swabs, aka Q-Tips. My car is black, so it is a pain in the arse. I dab a bit of 3M hand glaze on the swab to keep from scratching the paint.

God no. It's a tough spot to get right.

I use quick detailer and I fold a microfiber towel to run along the edges of the letters. It takes some patience.

Debadge it or put one of those "986" emblems instead I know im not helping

I did the 986S (s in red) after some guy at a hand car wash broke the original.
I used the bumperplugs guy but it was kinda steep for only four pieces.

I like the soft tooth brush idea but an OXO feather tip brush from autogeek.net or similar would be much better...totally paint safe. It feels similar to those ultra expensive boar's hair brushes. I wonder if the soft tooth brush bristles are soft enough for the soft German paint. And of course you can later use the OXO brush to clean your topp with the Raggtopp cleanser.

If you're really a perfectionist you can use a hand dremmel with a diamond shaped polishing bit

Seriously, I just use my sheepskin wash mitt. How dirty does it get that you need to ask this question.

but the best thing to use is actually a toothbrush for children.
or use a polish that does not leave any white powder like black ice.. use black ice and it shines very nice and does not leave any power its kinda like babyoil.

but if you have your own fav polish then toothbrush is the one to clean the badge.
to get rid of the white stuff, brush and blow.
However on my boxster I have nothing I removed the boxster logo a few years after I had, I bought it about 6 or 7 years ago and it wasnt long after that.
