Rain water leaking A small amount of rain water is leaking from the bottom center of the plastic rear window. :( Before I do something stupid and regrettable on my own, can you guys recommend what has been done that worked? Thanks in advance, |

If it's leaking into the foam rubber tray and draining out...not much to worry about. Sealing and patching is usually a temp. fix. You need to the plastic replaced if the top is in very good condition. A good shop in is usually around $450 for the repair. be sure that they have done Boxsters before. |

Thanks for the reply JCB. I am afraid the leak leaves the carpet/engine insulation wet. A heavy passing shower left a half-dollar size wet spot. I will apply a small amount of clear silicone adhesive sealant. |
