Question I need help diagnosing a sound/problem

Long story short:
Everytime my 2001 "s" trip 67k miles is put into gear(forward or reverse) I get a churning/slipping sound/feeling coming from behind me. It immediately goes away as soon as I start driving, but comes back as soon as I am stopped. It drives fine, no temp or shifting problems. It performs flawlessly until I stop at a light with it in gear or even when I start it up and put it into gear. It doesn' happen when in neutral or park. the sound/feeling isn't overly loud, but it is audible. I have only driven it 20 miles since.

I have changed the ATF fluid and filter and that didn't help as it was an outside shot(atf change was a pain so take warning).

Has anybody experienced this, or know what it is? Please help a fellow boxster owner
