Wow, I do not know where to start

So I was window shopping this morning on ebay and stumbled across this one. I could not help to share this monstrosity.

Enjoy!

"Custom" 911

Now all it needs is some fuzzys hanging from the mirror and all around the headliner. O'lay.

jmatta 06-16-2010 03:58 AM

"Miami Vice" wannabee with a Carrera 3.2?

I wonder what condition the donor 1970 911 longhood was in before they killed it?

landrovered 06-16-2010 04:07 AM

I think it is nice in a cocaine spoon around your neck, polyester suit, talking on your brick phone kinda way. This car would have been all the rage parked in front of Studio 54.

eightsandaces 06-16-2010 04:18 AM

To me it looks like the sports car version of Clark W Griswald's wallyworld cruiser.

Needs gullwing doors. Then I might take it more seriously.

Seriously, buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250650101472&viewitem= &sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

It's very near me. If you would like, I can check it out for you, a little 200 mph test drive.

I guess this is what you can expect from a guy whose email address is dj.maxinsanity@gmail.com

The Wagon Queen Family Truckster. You think you hate it now, but wait till you drive it.

I know everybody wants to be different but there's just a line that you just don't cross...

Cloudsurfer 06-16-2010 04:39 PM

That 959 is GORGEOUS.

clickman 06-16-2010 09:45 PM

HAHA. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

You wonder what possesses someone to do this ($100k invested!!), and then you realize that it just goes to show that it takes all kinds to make up this world. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Blue~
I wouldn't want you to get lost during that test drive. You just let me know when you're going and I'll be your navigator. :D

Needs gullwing doors

No, it's begging for Lambo doors.

I think the true beauty and the aesthetic balance of this 911 is captured by this photo:

Is it just me or does that car look like a woman who recently got a butt lift, tummy tuck, boob job and is sporting a can tan all at once in a skimpy white dress? Seriously though, as easy as it is to make fun of it now, that car would of been the shizzle 25 to 30 years back in the Miami Vice / Magnum PI era.
