cd changer needed
 

I just purchased a 2007 boxster which has the bose single cd stereo. How easy would it be to add a cd changer and what is involved?

I added a cd changer to my 2000 after locating one on Craig's list. It came complete with the bracket needed to fix it to the firewall. On a 986 the necessary hardware (bolts) were already installed by the factory. All I had to do was install the bracket (along with the changer) and hook up the connector(s) that were already in place. Of course I had to tell the radio that the changer had been installed. I can't imaging that your installation would be much different.

I have a 6 cd changer/bracket for sale from my 2002 S. I removed it last year and It is sitting in my closet.

I do not think it will work on cars 2004 or newer because I think they are optic. I could be wrong.
