Fun with a camera and mic

I was capturing some random video for work so I naturally clamped the camera to the passenger roll bar and relocated the mic to the rear bumper. I think the audio sounds pretty sweet.

I think I am going to tweak the setup and capture some better mountain road footage sometime this summer.

enjoy!

where exactly did you put the microphone, in the rear trunk?
I am still looking for a good place to put it, currently it's above the engine between the engine cover and the carpet, sounds like this (a little muffled):

Man I wish I was closer to Buttonwillow, I miss running there.

I gaff-taped it to bumper below the license plate. It was a shotgun mic with a wind sock. Next time I think I am going to mount it up a little higher. I haven't tried it at higher speeds so I cannot comment on wind noise.
