Anyone using Alpine PDX-5 with factory Bose speakers?

Hi, all:

My '03 Boxster came with the BOSE MOST system. I have since removed the headunit and factory amp (no more fiber). I'm running a JVC KD AVX-44 head unit, and last night I installed the Alpine PDX-5 in the frunk where the spare tire used to live. I have some wiring questions I was hoping someone might know the answers to.

The Bentley diagrams indicate that several of the speakers share common wires off of the frunk amp harness, which I've cut down to wire to the new amp. This gives me the willies, as I don't want to short and blow $700 worth of amp, so I'm currently only running my door speakers.

Has anyone successfully installed the PDX-5 (or another 5-channel amp) with the factory Bose speakers, including the two dash units, the two door units, and the rear speaker box?

Thanks in advance!
