what is this clear tube?
 

I was inspecting the drain holes (passanger's front side) and came across a clear silicone tube with a loose end. http://986forum.com/forums/attachmen...id=12653&stc=1,
BTW, I accidentaly pushed in the very same drain plug... what are the consequences? water still drains out, but not from the wheel. Thanks!

batt vent ?

so this end goes on the batt? I will check tomorrow and see if I find where to plug it on the batt. Thx.

That's the battery vent tube. One end goes into the battery, the other end leads out below the pass side wheel well area.

Not all batteries have a vent - mine doesn't. That's probably why yours isn't connected to anything.
