Driver's side window problem

Just replaced a dead battery over the weekend. Before I knew it was a "dead" battery, I was busy crankin' the car 'til it only clicked. A few interesting things happened during this session, like windows were going up and down by themselves and the rear spoiler went up by itself, and of course, the radio went dead. After replacing it with the new battery (bought at Auto Zone for $65.00. The dealer wanted $300 for the OEM spec. with the less cold start/cranking power), I figured out how to bring the spoiler down after reading the manual, but now my driver's side power window goes up and down okay, but not in the "one touch" mode. the passenger side windows are fine. I didn't touch anything. Anyone know how to reset it? Did something happen with the fuse?

You need to reset the windows. Just run them all the way up and down a few times.

You should have purchased the OEM battery. Then you could have repeated the same process over again in two years!

I recently had a problem with the right side window on my 97. It turned out to be a corroded wire where it passed through some sort of box (evidently with defective waterproofing) in the passenger side kick panel.
