I got the relay box - but to my surprise - unlike most builders - P does not have a single loom with blank slots. If yours is U.S. spec, then you're short some wiring. I'd be very interested in how a CDN dealer mods your car.

There's a simple jumper mod posted on the net. I may look at that to turn on the parking lamps that luminate the highbeam reflector on my Litronics.

I have them on a CDN spec Mercedes I bought when there was an advantage to buying North. Like seatbelts, I feel exposed without them.

you seens to be a very knowledgeable person. I will be very apprecieated if you can give me some more infos on putting on DRLs on my boxster, as the parts department at my local porsche dealer won't open until monday. yes my boxster is a US spec. I was thinking if it'll be cheaper to install 2 fog lamps inside the front grills and wire it to the low beam so they are always on except when the low beams are turned on. I've heard people doing that in the NSX forums. thanks alot.

so you want 4 fog lights???
Why don't you just rewire the existing fog lights in your headlights to keep those on when the lows are not in use?

I'd know more if I had actually done it. I have not. That gizzmo on ebay looks like a simple aux. lamp relay, no? You've already got plenty of lamps...besides the CDN DOT may have a spec on the size of lamp.

I found the link for what appears to be an easy DLR tweak. http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/mods/drl/

I lived in T.O. for a couple of years and an equal number in Detroit (where electic door locks seemed to std. even be on Yugos) in the 80's. Guess which was more civil?
