Replacement of Brake Discs and Clutch at 38k?

Very quick question fellow Boxster owners. I have a 2001 Boxster S with 38k on the clock. Through my dealer I've replaced the clutch and they are now also telling me I need all 4 discs and pads replacing? Is this normal at this stage, I have driven it hard, but not all the time. Thoughts?

expand on the meaning of driven hard? track/autocross?

Neither I'm afraid, would like to do track day some day, but aslong as it keeps wanting this kind of maintenance.... :-( Still been out in it today, and it reminded me why I bought it in the first place! :-)

40 K for rotars and pads is not unusual.

Don't be afraid to go out and use the car the way it was meant. By not doing so you are missing out on a whole lotta fun.

since you are in the UK, do you mean 40,000 Miles or Km?
