Bumper Plugs

Anywhere other that bumperplugs.com to get some painted bumper plugs? Are theirs the best quality? $35 shipped for those little things seems a little steep...

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

Your dealer has them for about $30 list, less if you wrangle a discount.

I too balked at $35 for a couple of plugs. I found some small nylon plugs at the local ACE Hardware for $.27/each. They will need some trimming to fit correctly. Color them with your touch-up paint.

There's a vendor on eBay that lists them pre-painted for $5.00 opening bid. They do not list the shipping cost (which ended up being $12.00.....absolutely rediculous). They showed up in about a week. The color was perfect and they fit like a glove. The quality of the paint was on par with spray painting them yourself, but overall I'm pleased.

I wish....I haven't found anyone beside bumperplugs.com for the painted bumperettes. I really want a set too.

My plugs were free.

Friend painted my humps and I saved the can of unused paint. He had a draw with plastic plugs and I found 2 that fit.

Did your friend sand them (bumperettes) smooth before painting them?
