Inexpensive tool ...nice to have

Nice tool to have. Useful for cooling system checks and is accurate enough for occasional track days and auto-x. Lots of uses around the house. Free shipping too!

Digital IR Pyrometer

Cheers!

Thanks for the info....

I was recently looking at ones 2x the price.

Always wondered if these really worked well.. specially for a low price like that.. it's just like anything else (weight, tire pressure) if you don't get a quality one (and often pay the price for it) you get random number each time :P

Mr. Negative!

I own this unit and compared it to my friend's $100+ Fluke unit. Same features. Took several different multiple readings with my friend's unit and this one. Their readings matched every time.

This is a good unit at a good price. I didn't just throw it up here because I saw it had a good price, I bought it and tested it which is why I'm now recommending it.

If you think otherwise, you're free to buy a more expensive unit.

Cheers!

Ohh.. I didn't intent to be negative, sorry for that.. I'm just scared from past experiences of ending up with a mesuring device giving me random things, there is nothing worst lol :)

Have one myself. Can't remember the brand, but yes, handy little tool to have around.
