Malachite Green?
I had a previos post about looking for green Boxsters and how rare they seem. just found a Malachite Green one on Ebay. I was shocked! Is it just me, or does this look absolutely NOTHING like the Malachite Green on Porsche's website?!?

Whoa dude! That is nasty. I'd call that gay blue or lesbian lavendish. It's rare as in raw liver! :barf:
And the gray leather with that, whatever it is blue/green painted consules........ Nothing personal :D |
That looks nothing like the Porsche color...either the description is wrong (looks turquoise) or something happened when they upload the pics.
Here Malachite on a 997... |
That looks like my friends '99 Wimbeldon Green C4 cab that I detailed for him. Here are a few pics.

Petro, from the eighties, was like that. It was the color of North Sea Crude and could be blue, green, brown and even almost black, depending on the sky. It was my favorite and I wish they had kept it. I'm sorry, but the Wimbeldon green is too girlie. |
I saw a Cayman in the showroom of our local Porsche dealer that color.
It looked good in person, but I'd want something different if I were to buy it. |
It's baaaaaaack.
Our favorite green Boxster has been re-listed. I know we've all hashed over the color, but the thing that hits me is the Buy It Now price. It's been lowered to $32.5. An 08 with 5700 miles and nice options. Wow! Here's the link if someone wants to jump into the bidding: |
Sorry, but both of those colors are an abomination !

Is Kirkwood, MO the San Fransisco of the Midwest??? :D :D
