Odd feeling in Shifter

Being new to the Porsche and Boxster world, there are all sorts of new sounds and feels to get used to. I just hope that most or normal and nothing is wrong.

However, there is one feel that has me puzzled. When in 2nd gear (2004 986 with a 5 speed manual) and you accelerate or decelerate using the gas peddle, you can feel movement in the gear shift lever. The odd part is that this is not noticeable in any other gear. There is no clunk in the transmission just a feeling of movement in the gearshift lever. You would think that if it is as simple as the transmission torquing within the car, it would show up in all the gears and not just second.

I know I may be paranoid but is this normal?

Thanks for comforting a newby to the marque.
