IMS/Engine rebuild

This may be a repost so forgive me if it is, but I've never seen it here. Pelican Parts has an awesome tech article write up and pictures on IMS bearing replacement using the LN Engineering retrofit kit. Also included is general engine rebuild ect. A lot of people talk about the IMS and issues surrounding it, but rarely do you see pictures and a step by step guide like this.

Adam, are you thinking about having it done? My CPO runs out middle of next year, and Renee has already approved the bearing (peace of mind).

I'm still not 100% sure of what I'll do, but the plan is to wait until I need a clutch and have it done then. It makes the most sense to do it that way. I only have 35k miles on the car so clutch replacement is still a ways off. Odds are the stock bearing will not fail anytime soon so I'm willing to take my chances.

my clutch needs to be replaced so I'm having to deal with this question now.
Too bad I also need shocks! Dang if only $6K just grew on trees!

Jake Raby has a video on u-tube - not sure if it is what you want. Check his flat6innovations site and LN Engineering.
