Serpentine Belt Replacement
 

I just replaced my belt which was the most easiest and simpliest belt replacement that I have every made. Moved both seats all the way forward, removed carpet and engine cover panels, removed the engine cover to access the belt, used a 1/2" long breaker bar with 24MM socket. You push down on the belt tensioner to release belt tension and then slide it off. Just the reverse when you install the new one. Easy as putting down the top. :cheers:

I had a hard time getting the new belt on when I did it, maybe because it was cold?

The howtos I saw online showed people pulling it over the alternator pulley last. I ended up putting it onto the top idler last (between alt and the power st/ac pumps). I think the rounded edge of the idler helps a lot.

I used my foot to push down on my breaker bar thus I was able to use both hands...yes, I had the top down.

I routed mine this way :

Start on the passenger side of the engine and work your way around clockwise to the tensioner. Once you’ve wrapped the belt around that, untension the tensioner and slip the belt around the neighboring idler pulley.

There's probably 20 different ways to get it on, but which ever way, it is very easy. Crap, which the rest of the engine was just as easy to work on. :cheers:
