How many hours for a 6 spd swap?
 

My 6 speed '02 S w/72k miles has developed the common 2nd gear synchro issues, so I may be looking at a rebuild. My tentative plan is to get a rebuilt 'box shipped in from a specialist, likely GBOX in Colorado, have a P-car specialist do the swap to get me in and out quickly, and then have the core shipped back.

How many hours should it take an experienced shop to do this swap?

The GBOX site says they've developed a "proprietary 2nd gear fix" for the 986/996 6 speed. Anyone have an opinion on or experience with this?
