Ebay covertible tops

Anybody ever buy one of the convertible tops on Ebay and put it on or had someone put one on?Any success' any failures?I have a '99 Boxster black with a tan top.I want to change the top to black.

I'm also looking those eBay tops. Doesn't look too bad to replace but not sure if I have the patience.

Yes I bought one of those cheap tops off eBay a few years back for my 98 ,I think from CA ,my local installer said it did not fit very well, he claimed it was to short from side to side, and did not fit very good ,so we contacted them back the company then they sent me a new better robins top at no extra cost, and then paid for half the install the second time so I can not complain he charged $400 to install it

I install tops in N.J. As you can read in my posts, I prefer GAHH tops. They offer the ultramax tops. I also replace plastic windows.

go GAHH with a professional install. Better than factory. See my pics:
