Digital Oil Gauge, Truth or Lies?

My digital oil level gauge showed one bar above the bottom line, so I checked the stick and found it full.

Do you guys trust the digital one or ignore it? I know I can trust the stick and wonder why the digital one is off...

PS - the 987's ONLY have the digital one... I do hope they made it work better than the one in my 1997!

I do not trust the fuel gauge. I have a calibrated wood stick I shove into the filler to check the fuel level. :)

The oil level gauge was way before the Boxster. At our work on cars days over the years we have done many oil changes. Never use the stick. I pulled mine out about 6 years ago just to see how long it was.

One bar is about a cup of oil.
