986 Muffler conversion kit

Somewhere I ran across a conversion mounting kit for using a later OEM muffler on my 99 2.5. Now I can't find it. Is it an aftermarket or what. Does anyone have a site or link for the part? Bill

Try Pedro's Garage. PPBON is a member here, and I know he has something on a muffler mod. Maybe also what you want

Porsche changed the mountings on the exhaust system some time around model year 2000. Later mufflers, ordered as parts, came with a couple of adaptor bits so the same muffler would fit the earlier cars. This “kit” of hangers and fasteners is what you are referring to…..
