987 DRL Daytime running light help!

I've recently imported a US spec 2005 Boxster into Canada and need help trying to modify the car to Canadian compliance (ie. DRL).
My last Boxster was a 1999, which was also imported from he US, and I was able to follow a simple Daytime Running Light DRL "hack" and jump out the low beam via the fuse panel.
Does anyone know if there is a similar method of overiding the DRL in the 987 Boxster?
My friend imported a 2007 911 from the US and was required to add an additional relay. Can this be done to the Boxster?
Any help would be appreciated, as the Canadian Government is knocking on my door telling me I have limited time to have this change done or may face mandatory exportation of the vehicle.
Thanks everyone!

I don't know what the "Canadian Spec" is but does this mean you have to have DRL?

I know with Boxsters equiped with PCM, if you go to the Main menu, and then press "set", there is a menu under there that allows you to turn on DRL.

The dealer should be able to activate the DRLs with the PIWIS

FOund this link for you on Rennsport page:

Good luck, it looks easy.
From reading their thread, the dealer can do it through the computer, but they rob you for close to a grand!! Screw that, do it yourself.

no hack for newer cars

This hack does not work on the post 2005 cars, the fuse box is completely different. (at least it is on my 2007)
