Leaking around rear window

Hi guys,

I noticed the other day, after some heavy rain fall that there is a small leak in both the bottom right and bottom left hand corners of my plastic window, and some water drops had come through to fall onto the carpet covering the engine cover.

Have any of you experienced this? What can be done about it?

I was thinking maybe some clear silica sealant (like you would use in your shower) might do the trick. Any advice?

yes it has. It's a 98 model and was replaced a couple of years ago before I bought it. I suspect that the sealant they used when it was replaced might have decayed. It gets pretty hot here in summer (35 celsius plus) so it wouldn't surprise me if it has deteriorated.

Glass rear screen

You could seal it up or alternatively go to our Melbourne factory and have a glass window replacement hood fitted. Why not give them a call on 03 9738 1099.
