polishing the stock exhaust muffler
Does anybody have any good polishing methods for the stock exhaust muffler. It would be nice to get it looking like chrome...! The tips and the whole underside are turning brownish..

i cant say that ive tried this but i bet brasso would do nicely.

Brasso does work quite well. That's what I use now.

"Blue Magic" metal polish...great stuff, non-abrasive.

Use the showmans blend. No equal to it and it works very quick. Just apply on a microfiber towel and hand buff.

Got tired of polishing, so powder coated mines instead :D

Steel wool and polishing compound
|
yes I am considering painting it black if I can find a high temp paint that is fairly shiny like black chrome..

Ditto to the fine steel wool, works great,

I start with Nevr Dull (has cotton wadding saturated with the polish)...

+1 on the neverdull
I've had great luck with neverdull. I did mine earlier this year and it still looks great!
