Servicing intervals - a little confused!

Hi guys, so Ive had my 2000 2.7 Boxster for 6 months now and still grinning :-D

Servicing time now, and I have what is probably a stupid question:

I'm a little confused about the log entries - there was a major done at 48K miles, as expected, but another major done at 64K - wasn't that too soon? Should I then wait the recommended 24K for the next major? (I'm on 78K at the moment).

Thanks

C

The major at 64k

is not by the book as a major maintenance point. But I myself elected to do a major at the same point (45k miles) as I was the new owner and I wanted to be certain of the maintenance status of the car. I'll do another at 60k+ miles.

It may be also that the owner elected to do a major rather than a minor based on the age of the car or the length of time since a major.

Or the service book could have been mis-stamped or the service incorrectly entered into the dealer's computer.
