GT3 seats installed on 01 boxster S passenger mirror auto down on reverse.

Hi all,

I think I already know the answer to my question. I am guessing after I replaced my stock seats with GT3 seats did the auto down feature of the passenger mirror go away with the control module that left in the stock drivers seat?

I am guessing this is the case and just want to know if I am right.

Thanks

Cars with seat memory have the option to have the pass side mirror swivel down when reverse is engaged.

To enable this, the car must be in reverse when setting the seat memory
To disable, don't have the car in reverse when setting the seat memory.

I would assume that if you removed the seat control module, that the swiveling mirror option goes with it. Perhaps if you leave the control module in place (even without the power seats), you could still have the auto-swivel mirror functionality.

I had the factory seats on my 02 S replaced with GT3 seats and the passenger mirror still goes down when I shift to reverse.
