Idle dips low breifly after winding down

I'ts probably a vacume leak or somthing but after driveng along at 3 k, pop out of gear and let it drop to idle and it brifly dips to about 4-500 rpms before it pops back up to a normal idle range.

Ring any bells, ideas, anything common? or do I just need to hunt it down? (No CEL)

Thanks PK

Might try cleaning the throttle body? Car might have a hard time locating a good idle position if it's gummed up.

Thanks, that's somthing to look at. It's been years since anybody has been back there, namely myself. Hardly drive it. I've forgotten all the usual suspects.

What year is your car? The cabled throttle cars have an idle air control valve thas supposed to maintain idle (of all things). It may be on it's way out.
