familiar with fuses?
 

Tried to lower the top today and the switch was dead. Too bad it was 64 degrees and tommorow its expected to snow, Murphy's luck.
Anyone know which fuse goes with the power top switch?

How do you know it is a fuse, and not human error the emergency/parking brake, for starters!

There are about [sic] zillion other reasons also, but the fuse is simple, when you pull your fuse panel, you will find a small piece of paper explaining your fuses.

If it's not there, I can point you to the exact fuse, but that would prempt you from learning.

Scott, you forgot to metion that a fuse diagram is also located in the owner's manual!

I figured it would force him to look and become familar with the fuse panel.

just used my little lite checker and all the fuses are fine.

and I tried the old emergency brake trick but that didn't work either. :)

hmmm....

Please walk me through what you did just prior to the this happening. What have you tried so far beyond the little check light.

I am the kind of person who pulls fuses for a visual check.

Any noises coming from your top at all, does everything else work okay. The little micro switches can be a pain :ah:

prior to this I installed clear tailights.
other than that I haven't touched anything.
I did forget to switch off my V1 radar detector yesterday and it was on while the car was off for five hours or so. But everything else works fine.

it the fuse to the top one of the those large fuse blocks or a little colored one in the fuse panel where teh spolier switch is?

I had the same problem last summer, but mine was stuck down. To make a long story short it was a faulty relay, which was easily replaced. The dealer told me that it was not that uncommon for these to go bad. I actually bought a spare and threw it in the tool bag just so I do not get caught again. Just something to check.
