Enabling OBC using Durametric
is it possible to use Durametric to enable OBC on the Boxster?

Question: Can the software enable the on board computer (OBC)?
Answer: Not at this time.

No it won't. Yu may be able to get a dealer to do it by just asking for the outside temp to be displayed. This activates the OBC. Most dealers will do this as a courtesy, or a small charge.

As of 28 Sept 09, the beta 6.0.1 version of durametrics will activate the OBC.
