Heated Seats for free
 

There was a post a while back on whether the seats in the Boxster are "pre-wired" with heating wires. The thought was that you could just find the wiring harness and add the switches and go.

No such luck. Service folks confirm these seats are not pre-wired.

I guess I don't understand the question? He is saying he HAS heated seats. The Porsche service guys would know, would they not?

I would tend to trust the service guys, but once and a while, there's something uncovered on forums just like this that they don't know or don't want us to know. Oh well, that's the one option I really wanted that my box doesn't have. Thanks for checking on this...
