Jeremy Clarkson reviews the base 987

Be forwarned, he is a pretty tough reviewer.

I sell both the Boxster and the 911. Love them both. Handling wise, the Box rules the 911, sorry!

This guy has a burr up his ...........................!

What a dweeb!

I wonder if Jeremy would like driving my 1997 after I squeeze a 3.4 liter engine in it?

Yup, he'd smile and say "I think the bloke's found convergence ... the best of both worlds."

Well, the 356 was still pretty much the same car in 1964 as it was in 1950. The 911 of 2005 is still recognizably the same car as the 911 of 1965. As Boxster owners we could do worse than have the 2027 Boxster not a whole lot different than the ones we drive today. That, plus "clinical" and "precise" isn't half bad.
I think it's even money that TVR won't even exist in 2027.

Horrible review and an even worse writer. Half of the time he's reviewing a damned TVR. This article gave nothing of any value to anyone interested in the car. Sounds like he just felt like bashing the 987 and designers of Porsche.

Its called SYMMITRY He found the ying and yang balanced. My nephew just bought a 997(DA Bling) Carrera in Miami and I would still say that our car is the better car. It has a better looking design and the performance and grip of F-1 Ferrari. Just remember that the Cayman with 60 horses less beat the Carrera S track time for the Nurburgring lap. I wonder what both cars similar power would do? :D
No more bling bling for you!

the boxster s and teh Cayenne Turbo posted the same time at the n-ring.
