never knew i had a 2003???

so the guy that i sold the car to now is saying that it is a 2003 and that he is a second owner and that the wheels on it are 19s lol
my buddy saw it and emailed him, and that's what hes saying, wtf?
some people are just shady...
i sure hope he didnt swap titles or some other kinda shady stuff...
he is even saying that the clutch was changed in march...when i owned the car in march and it definitely wasnt changed....

oooo, and hes selling it for $22,000
its a 1998 with 80k for gods sake...i dunno

just wanted to share with the forum if they know someone that is possibly looking at it...and just to see what some reactions to this are.

I say we go... take the car for a joyride, maybe he will get 8k? from the insurance company. It would serve him right.

Some people are really shady, but upon inspection... the VIN number, etc. will prove that it isnt a 2003. Id never buy a Porsche without a PPI, but some people are more trusting than I am, or cheaper.

this thread reminds me of the board member who bragged about ripping donuts, then, the very next day, offered his car for sale to another board member.

shady, shady world out there - buyer beware

There's a guy trying to sell his 99 Carrera in Long Island, NY on cars.com. He's advertising it as a Carrera S, and even has an S badge put on the rear decklid. There weren't even any S models made in 99. Lol. Some people will do anything to sell a car.

That's crazy. He must've doctored the title then you'd think and perhaps the VIN to. Woudn't something like that be a fraudulent felony?
