I'm really surprised that Oprah, who crusades against issues like racism, would allow someone to publish such a prejudiced, bigoted opinion of a minority group ( are 986 owners not a minority in this world? I'm sure Geoffrey Miller, rolls around in his Prius slowing down the fast lane. I hate the stigma surrounding certain cars. No where in that incessant rambling did it say anything about buying a car because you like it or are enthusiasts like so many here. It's always an ulterior motive.

Of course, these TV show therapists can't decide which it is. One day, they are on talking about how women love bad boys. Good boys don't have a chance, until the women decides to settle down!

I've always noted to my wife of 17 years, and she'll generally(??) agree, that there are a hell of a lot worse things a married guy could do then enjoy a nice car. She does hate when I do track days, but it goes with the territory.
