Light bulbs burning out one after the other

3 weeks ago my rear brake light was burnt.

2 weeks ago my front lower right light went out.

This week apparently now my front left parking light is going.

Is this just too much of an odd coincidence for all my light bulbs to be going out at the same time?

When I replace a burnt bulb it seems another one somewhere else gets ''burnt'' a few days later and I get a warning message on my onboard computer near the tach.

Could it be faulty ignition switch or headlight switch?

Daytime running lights were installed by a Porsche dealer 6 months ago.

I have a 2006 Boxster S with about 45K miles.

Thanks

I would check your charging system.

Check the voltage across the battery terminals with the car running. I had a motorcycle that was going through headlights one after the other, and it turned out that the charging system had stopped regulating, and while riding, it was running at about 20V, which was causing the bulbs to draw nearly 2x the power they were designed for, which was causing then to fail.

Now my key buttons won't let me unlock or lock the doors!

My key fob is fine, battery works, but I have to manually unlock the doors.

wtf is going on lol

RR311 sounds right. Or you could be getting a surge related to the DRL install, since that preceded your unholy manifestations. Multiple multimeter checks needed.

If electrics are ok I'd consider the ignition switch. It has caused some mighty weird problems.

After that an exorcism is likely in order. Watch out for pea soup! :barf:

Now the radio is not producing sound anymore...it seems to be working but there is no sound coming out!

I don't have the time to go to the dealer...can the ignition switch cause this problem too?

thanks
