San Diego IMS retrofit?

Anyone know if any of the San Diego independents (like BF) do the LN IMS bearing retrofit?

Most shops haven;t done this... If you have a shop thats competent and open minded feel free to submit them to us and we'll call them and interview them about being one of our partners.

In Orange County we have a partner, Callas Rennsport... They have completed the IMSR procedure successfully and they have the integrity we look for when working with a shop.

Jake -
Have you worked with any shops in the Minneapolis, MN area, or have any leads on a shop in this area that you would consider partnering with?
Thanks.

+1 for Callas Rennsport. One of the most thorough indy shops I know. Black Forest in SD are also very good.

don't know if he can do it, but Precision Motion located in Riverside is a porsche only independent shop.

http://www.pmporsche.com/

I live in Temecula - half way between Riverside and San Diego and was looking for an independent that I could go to instead of the stealership. These guys have done good work for me on the few things I took the car into them for.

they appear to do everything from basic maintenance up to custom race car stuff. I bet these guys could do it. not too far from SD.

The problem with some Indy shops is they are too brain washed with "Porsche rules"...

It takes a Maverick with an open mind, willing to follow directions to extract an IMS bearing and replace it.

Because Porsche says this can't be done.
