Anybody know dimensions of 987 front trunk?

I'm trying to figure out if I could stow a carseat in there when not in use? I've searched and found the thread with pics of how much people can get in there...the keg was great, just not sure quite how close a car seat is in size to a keg, since it's round, and that was in a 986 I think.

Thanks in advance.

With the spare tire out, a 6'2 inch, 215ish pound guy can fit in the frunk with the lid completely closed - and still have enough room to dial the phone and summon the wife to the garage to scare the crap out of her.

This led to the discovery that, should you find yourself locked in the frunk and there's nobody that cares within earshot, you can pop the frunk with your key and unlatch it from the inside quite easily.

I realize the dimensions I've provided may not be in the units of measure you find most useful...

Surprised no one has gotten the numbers to you, so here you go. The 987 frunk isn't a true cube, so the dimensions are different at the top and bottom.

Bottom surface: 23" across front, 27" across back

Top area: 25" across front, 28" across back

Length from front to back is equal: 14"

Hope this helps, let me know if you have questions. You CAN drop a Coleman cooler into the frunk.

I was in a hurry trying to write my response before leaving for work. Forgot to mention the depth is 16" front and 22" back.
