Pinning rear spoiler up

Howdy all,

In my weight savings quest, I'd like to remove the motor and hydraulics on the rear spoiler and just pin it in the up position. Is there a non-permanent way to do this?

If so, any help would be great.

thanks.

Agree. I think it would look really odd. Unless I'm missing something.

I would assume that Quadcammer is stripping his car down for the track but may want to resell it someday as stock. He needs to be careful because we all know that it’s a slippery slope!

precisely. Looks are secondary to losing some more weight.
