Switch Glitch

I've had my '99 Boxster for about 2 months now and love it. However, there are a few things that are getting annoying; the warning lights on the dashboard are really starting to grind my beans. First of all, the lights for both trunks come on regularly even when I know both are shut tight. Not the end of the World but still a bit irritating. Secondly, three weeks ago I was driving to West Palm Beach and inadvertently bumped the wiper switch and apparently drained the last bit of fluid from the windshield washer resevoir. This triggered a bright amber warning light which impeded night vision. An empty resevoir definitely warrants attention but night blindness seems like a hefty penalty. Thirdly, recently I've begun to get an alert that the top is either not opened or closed all the way and when this light comes on, I can't raise my windows all the way. It's coming on rainy season here in Louisiana and this development ios bad news. Is there a way to bypass this alert that won't cost a fortune or should I invest in Visquine?

bad ignition (starter) switch. Easy cheap fix - use Search function for DIY.
