2000 boxster spark plug help

hi all
Any ideas on which is the correct bosch sparkplug to install in a 2000 model porsche boxster with the 2.7 motor. I have reason to believe that mine are the originals from new with 40,000 miles.
Also what is the plug life in these cars and if the plugs are not changed regular does it affect the car performance.
Thanks in advance

I recently replaced the original plugs in my '01 2.7 with Bosch 7413 plugs. Per a phone conversation with Bosch, the 7413 is the only plug that they make for the 2.7.

Rockauto.com has them for $6 or $7 each.

As far as plug life is concerned, the Bentley lists something like 4 years/60k miles. Mine were 8 years/19k miles, so I figured what the hell... plus working in these things is a good time.

Spark Plugs

The plugs the dealer installed were Porsche part 999-170-201-90
I think they are Beru brand plugs. Every 30,000 miles I am told

The maintenance instructions for my 2000 specify a 30k change interval for spark plugs. A friend of mine has a 2002 and his manual says 60k. Based on your statement, I guess Porsche increased the interval in the 2001 model year.

Since I don't know of any change to the car that would have resulted in longer plug life beginning in 2001, I wonder if I could go 60k on a set of plugs.
