It was a wonderfully warm evening in Ohio. He went out with his wife for dinner. The Italian restaurant was great, and they were lucky to get a table in the cozy little garden outside. They had the gnocchi and a bottle of Malvasia wine followed by a sweet Vin Santo with their appetizer. As they were walking back to their car a smile formed upon his lips. She hugged him warmly, it was such a romantic night. Looking at his Porsche he murmured with pleasure. "Damn those lights look great!"

I took my car into a shop that does tops and they ordered it and installed.

The problem with the GAHH glass window top is that the rear window is smaller than stock. I have to bend down a bit to see clearly out the back window. That said, if I had it to do over again I would buy an 03' glass window top and retrofit it onto my 01.

There's a thread here that someone explains everything involved with doing the conversion.

Aside from the rear window issues, the top is very well made and I've not had a problem with anything. It's been on for about 9 months now and is holding up excellent.

OK it must be me then, but I don't quite get the above excerpt, poem, stoned moment or drunkin rant. Please fill me in. I imagine its just one of those quotes that never made it to Urbana Ohio. :)

It's a true story...

Just replace Ohio with Boston, "he" with "I", etc....

I was silly enough to ask my wife if she sees something different in the car. She did not notice anything, just asked how much it costed (whatever it was that she should be seeing)...

There is a 50% overhead whenever I upgrade the Boxster... That is the gift I get her (so we are even  )...

No poem or real quote though, just someone's story...
