License Plate euphoria!

I am buying this asap. I hate the front plate on my car and the cops hate that I don't have one. :)

One good bump on the pavement and that expensive contraption is gonna get broken and one might lose his license plate... and if that plate is a personalized plate the car's owner loses that plate name.

I do like the innovation behind it though. Very cool.

That's pretty cool. I'm going through license plate mounting stuff right now. It's on my dash for the time being.

Doesn't really solve the cop problem though. I mean, you have to leave it out there all the time. Makes it easy to put away for photos, I guess.

My current favorite solution: velcro. I'm planning to stick the clear guard stuff, down, then some industrial strength velcro, and then the plate. It'll work. You know the plastic knee pucks held onto the knees of motorcycle racers and dragged on the ground all day long. Held on with velcro. This way it will be easy to remove for washing. The two strips of velcro will always be there, but since it will be stuck to the clear bra material, at least I'll know for sure I can get it off without damaging the paint. I'll post photos if I ever get it done.

I have seen this in person... its kinda cool, but it has to stick out past the front of the car, even when retracted and sits a fair bit below the car. I scrape my front spoiler going in and out of driveways so I doubt that this would last long.
