Bumpers

HI

can anyone tell me what other bumpers from other model porsches fit the boxster.

The front bumper cover for the 996 1999-2001 will fir your Boxster, but will have a center opening for a central radiator.

Porsche offers factory Aerokits I & II (II is similar to the GT3 nose) that fit the Boxster but you’ll most likely want to add he side skirts that balance out the look.

There are also several aftermarket front bumper covers, usually made out of fiberglass, that are made for the Boxster.
Here are several examples.

Ruf makes one.

If you google Boxster front bumper you’ll see lots of options. You can even add one that looks like a 987, 997, or a GT3 RS

Looks like a stock OEM from 2003-2004 with the horizontal grill bars removed.

That's the part number for the OEM base bumper cover for years 03-04,

to use it you will also need the horizontal bars
#'s 986-505-531-00,
986-505-532-00,
986-505-533-00,
986-505-534-00,

The duct work behind the bumper cover connecting to the radiators is probably differently shaped than the ones on your '97, so you'll need to verify if you need those as well.

Pelican parts has a parts search function on their website with diagrams and part photos that is helpful for tracking down parts and estimating costs.
