Help: Is it mine or does the windshield antenna really blow?
Unfortunately I live 45 minutes between two major Ohio cities(Columbus/Dayton). My station 104.7 fades in and out on my Box, but my Mountaineer picks it up loud and clear. The country stations come in fine, but I am not a fan of country. :barf:
Anybody have suggestions "they have used" Booster, new hidden antenna, or will a new head unit work? I don't really want to go xm or sirus Sat. But If thats my only option.... |
It's pretty poor. Doesn't help it's on such a low car.

Not sure. You can try searching here or on renntech.org, I think there have been some other discussions about it.

yea, I was kind of figuring sat was going to be the final outcome. Any rave reviews on a particular unit? Is Bestbuy a bad idea? Unfortunately its the only store within 40 miles except for walmart and sears. I will definately shop around as I never pay retail for anything but food.
Can I just plug it inot my existing P-stereo? I have the cassette version. thanks for the input!! everything I have read on boosters have had mixed reviews. |
Satellite radio is definately the way to go.
I swapped out my Porshe unit for a Pioneer with xm, ipod, cd and usb for only about $350 with installation at a local approved shop through Crutfield. Well worth it! Eric : |
