I know what you mean. Ever since I had to change the name from Boxsterforum to 986forum, traffic died down. Don't worry. The sit will still be here. It just take promoting it and spreading the word. I would do it at other sites but thenI would get spammed to death :)

Patrick 11-18-2002 06:28 PM

No problem, I'll keep checking in. :)

Patrick,

You are not alone.

How about some details on your car.

JT 11-19-2002 02:34 PM

As far as I go, I just bought a new Expedition for the winter :)

ehljags 11-19-2002 04:23 PM

JT,

A ford? Perhaps you need to look at the "pepper wagon" as it will be out later this winter. afterall, a Porsche going 100+ mph in the snow --

2003 Boxster - Seal Gray - Black top & interior.

Bose stereo
Windstop
PSM (Porsche Stability Management)
Heated Seats
17" Boxster II wheels
Colored crest wheel hubs

Since I live in Ohio, I won't be driving it too much until spring. :(

Hey Patrick!

Congratulations on your 2003, it sounds really great. I love that color. Mine is a '99 Arctic Silver. Welcome to the forum and keep posting. It is slow here at times, but it will get busier as more people discover this place. Enjoy your car!

Patrick --
the '03 sounds sweet. How is the glass rear window? I imagine it is a great improvement since I have to Plexis my plastic window ('01) about efvery week.

Hope to see you frequently on da board!

Patrick 11-20-2002 07:06 PM

Thanks for replying guys. I love the Silver also.

The glass rear window is great, although I haven't used the defogger yet. Probably won't since I won't be driving it in the winter.

BTW, Is there any website to buy any Porsche products that don't rape you??

Talk to you guys later.:)

The best price on genuine Porsche stuff is most likely Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota, Florida. Their prices are quite low for a dealer. http://www.e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=P&Category_Code =PO

Several mail order catalog companies exist, such as Tweeks, Performance Products, and Vertex. All of these are on the WEb. They have occasionally good prices, but tend to be a bit high. they have some OEM stuff along with 2nd party stuff.

Another good way to find stuff is through Porswche club of America. You get PCA's monthly magazine which has many advertisements, ranging from P-dealers to custom-tweaking shops.

I think the site software parses URLs, so there is no need for the tags. Although, you would think it would also work that way since HTML is enabled. I bought a few things from Suncoast too, like the spoiler sticker.

EDIT: I think you have the tags wrong, this should work too. Let's see.
