left tiptronic button on the steering wheel... 03 boxster

its busted-- supposely previous owner broke it-- right side of the steering wheel(button) + and - work well

where would i get the replacement part for that tiptronic button? dealer quoted me 440$ !!!.....

The dealer is your only shot. The switches are part of an assembly and not available separately.

Unless you buy a complete steering wheel from a wrecker, and then, there's no guarantee it'll work.

I have a complete 4-spoke Tip steering wheel w/ airbag and emblem used only 6k mi. since new when I replaced it with a 3-spoker. I'd sell it for waay south of $440. If interested, send me a PM and make an offer.

Does the switch feel OK? If so, it may just be unplugged. Removing the wheel and looking at the wires would be my first step. Pretty easy. If it is a bad switch you can buy four spoke wheels pretty cheap. Three spoke are a tad more.
