Looking to deamber

Alright I've jumped on the eggs are ugly bandwagon and am looking for a set of clear lights and possibly clear & red tails. Does anybody know who in the states offers the best deal on a kit. I have found a few shops in the UK that sell them but I would perfer not to go through all the VAT taxes and crap. I'm not looking litronic. I've ordered suspension parts from Design911 in the UK and never paid VAT. I think as a general rule, VAT works similar to state sales taxes... if delivery is to another jurisdiction then VAT isn't added on.

As far as de-ambering goes, I personally prefer OEM parts versus the aftermarket items you find on eBay... I think they look and fit better.

That's a pretty good price. Less than 850 usd for everything.

If you want a good american parts provider, go to suncoast or sunset.

BTW, I like how the Cayman wheels look on your car. I'm thinking of getting the same ones for mine...

Do you have any other pictures?

I got my smoked side reflecters from suncoast. I picked up my egg-yolk free rear tail lights on Craigslist from a fella in a nearby town who was selling his Boxster. My car came from the factory with Litronics, so I didn't have to deal with the headlights.

I installed the side and taillights myself with a screwdriver in just a couple of minutes.

I think it will really help the look of a blue car. Not sure how much it matters on some colors -- but for blue I'm a fan.

Post an "after" picture for us to compare.

I purchased 911 headlights and "deambered" them using the solder iron method. Tail lights are OEM with an aftermarket clear 3rd brake light (side markers are clear, as well). Buy good quality OEM if you can; not the cheap Chinese LED stuff.

BTW, I also like the Cayman wheels...never been a fan of twists.
