The new Rodent Trap (7/09) reviewed 5 convertibles and says that the 310 bhp 987S went from 0-60 mph in 4.1 sec equipped with PDK using launch control. Although the 997's have more hp and a back seat, the actual driving experience didn't really seem to justify the price differential when I ordered my 987S three years ago. Either the 987's just keep getting better at closing the price/performance gap every year or maybe there's a bit of honest "journalism" creeping into the monthly subscription cars ads.
