Lil bastard see if you can help with this

You were right it was the starter as i had suspected as well. I had it replaced. Now here comes my other problem. None of the interiors lights go on at all. The lights i am talking about are the lights on each door and the top one that you can move to three positions. The one position if you want the interior lights to turn on when the door is open. The second one is to have the lights off completely and the third is turn them on no matter what. Well it seems mine doesn't do anything at any position. Is there a fuse that control the doorcheck lights and the top interior light as i have changed the bulbs and still nothing.

Check fuses A5 and C3, but I bet they're OK because you don't report issues with the windows or instrument lights.

So, I suspect that the overhead interior light and integral switch is your issue - the switch is either dirty, or one of the contacts broke. Disassemble by prying off the IR sensor covers to locate the screw underneath, remove and visually check for proper operation. If that doesn't get it, report back.

The next thing to check would be the door lock modules in each door and finally there is an alarm system tie-in to this circuit as well.

lil,

along the same lines of lights not working it seems my defrost button, convertible button do not light as well when i put the headlights on. Any reason why? could these be connected problems to the door check lights and upper console light not working... I pulled the plug out of the alarm and put it back in.. i am going to check the fuses. Nothing happened.. do you think pulling off the battery and then waitingcouple of mins then reconnecting it might fix the problem. Also i bought these for the car and tried to install them the other day and none of them worked :http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390047736976&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem=

Any clue why?

LEDs are polarized, that is they have a definite positive and negative side and can't be mixed. Make sure the oem plugs are the proper polarity.
